Bangladesh School Saham has introduced a new dimension to education for Bangladeshi expatriates residing in the Sultanate of Oman. Our institution stands apart from conventional schools by committing to the holistic development of Bangladeshi children. We aim to prepare them to compete confidently on the global stage by equipping them with proficiency in English, cutting-edge knowledge, and diverse skills essential for entrepreneurial success in today’s rapidly changing world.
Our journey began with modest origins, starting with just 35 students. Recognizing the growing importance of English as a global medium, the school transitioned from a Bengali-medium curriculum to an English-medium version in 2012. This pivotal transformation was marked by a formal inauguration jointly led by Mr. Sk. Ali Bin Abdullah Al Badi, Honorable Member of Mojlish-e-Shura, Sultanate of Oman, and Mr. Nurul Alam Chowdhury, His Excellency, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Oman. Since then, the school has successfully delivered the National Curriculum of Bangladesh through its English-medium stream.
At Bangladesh School Saham, we work collaboratively with parents to ensure students achieve their full potential. Our combined efforts aim to foster excellence in academic performance, enabling our students to secure outstanding results and pursue rewarding careers. We take pride in nurturing individuals who can confidently navigate a competitive world while upholding values of integrity and compassion.
We warmly encourage all Bangladeshi expatriates in Oman to enroll their children at Bangladesh School Saham. To ensure the highest standards of education, we have appointed experienced and qualified teachers from prestigious public universities. Alongside academic rigor, we strive to instill traditional Bangladeshi values—integrity, honesty, empathy for the less fortunate, and moral decency—in our students, shaping them into exemplary global citizens.
Finally, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the parents who have placed their trust in us by enrolling their children in our school. We are equally grateful to all those who have contributed directly or indirectly to the growth and success of Bangladesh School Saham, enabling it to achieve its current position of distinction.
With sincere appreciation,
Engr. Hasanuzzaman (Hasan)
